Control + F11: Script Setup! Only use if you want to reset some options and restore others to default. There is no "are you sure" here, so don't hit it accidentally! Keep in mind that I am only doing this for those that choose to use my script. My script is not intended for the public, so don't treat it that way. I have documented what I feel needs documentation in what I feel is an appropriate order. If you have any questions, don't hesitate to find me online or email me, but realize that this is a personalized script, and if it isn't everything you want it to be, I'm sorry. I will only make changes that do not hinder the functions I intended when making a script for me. ----- Away Options ----- /a Away: /a [reason] Enter your reason for going away in place of [reason]. This notifies all channels that you are away. Your nick will try to change to your away nick, if it is different from the default. If away-messages-to-channel are enabled, notification of your absence will be sent to channels after set intervals of time. /asilent Same as above, but no notification to channels and your nick will not change. /b Back from away. This notifies all channels that you are back, your reason for being away, and the duration of your absence. If back-on-keypress is enabled, this command is not necessary. Your nick will try to change back to your default nick. /bsilent Same as above, but no notification to channels. /awayoptions Toggles idle-away on or off, back-on-keypress on or off, away-messages-to-channel on or off, and sets the default length of time before idle-away takes affect and between away-messages-to-channel. ----- Mp3 Options ----- /setupmp3 Setup mp3 playing. Runs the following four comands. /mp3dir set or change your mp3 directory for use with CrashScript. /mp3player set or change mp3 player for use with CrashScript. /mp3disp toggles mp3 display from public to private, vice versa. /mp3check checks above settings for validity, enforces correct settings. /mp3 /mp3 . This also works with the F6 button command, but the F6 function also allows you to browse and choose. I personally recommend just pressing F6 to play an mp3. Typing part of it will do, as long as enough information is given to distinguish from similarly named mp3s. Wildcards may be used; spaces are treated as wildcards. EXAMPLE: to play file "Village People - YMCA.mp3" /mp3 Village People - YMCA.mp3 /mp3 Village People /mp3 YMCA /mp3 Vil Peo YM Any of the above could potentially work. The second choice could play any mp3 by the Village people, if you have more. Like I said, just give enough information to distinguish. /random Plays a random mp3 from your set mp3 directory. This is very useful when you just want music and you trust your selection to be of good taste. If like me, however, you share mp3s with your father and his bizarre tastes, perhaps a specific choice is better. Also with the random function, if the Jukebox is enabled, CrashScript will do its best to play mp3s one after another. This is done by setting a timer to randomly select another mp3 equal to the track length of the current mp3, an endless cycle if you don't close mIRC. To stop the JukeBox, Choose an mp3 using the mp3 function or type /stop. /stop Stops any mp3 playing, unless your mp3 player is configured to enqueue as its default action. /playlist Playlist options. Typing /playlist alone will give you five choices, which are also available as listed below. Other options are in the works, such as shuffling, removing files, etc. /playlist add Select an mp3 to add to your playlist. /playlist clear Clear the playlist. /playlist random Play a random mp3 already in the playlist. /playlist run Run the playlist from the top. (/playlist play works as well) /playlist view Open the playlist in Notepad. See how simple it is? ----- Misc. Commands ----- /textoptions Configure the script's ability to display @/+ prefixes for opped and voiced nicks during normal channel conversation, to color code the nicklist by ops, voices, etc., and to turn nick completion on or off (I recommend turning them all on). /sv Advertise mIRC and my script on your current channel, thanks! /telnet A pretty good little telnet function, especially useful for stray eggdrop bots. /hd Tell your current channel the size and free space on your C:. /now Exclaims the current time. /uptime Identify your OS, your OS uptime, your mIRC connection time, and your previous best mIRC uptime to your current channel. /uptime-echo Same as /uptime, but only you see it. /upnow Same as /uptime, but adds the current time to the mix. /j /join /q /quit /t /topic #[chan] /w, /wi /whois /on /onotice. /cn /notice #[chan], where [chan] can be any channel. /op /mode #[chan] +o -- Only four nicks at a time, but you already /deop /mode #[chan] -o -- knew that didn't you? /voice, /v /mode #[chan] +v -- /devoice, /dv /mode #[chan] -v -- I think you understand. /ping /ctcp [something] PING This is a more direct way to ping a channel or a peer. /version /ctcp [something] VERSION Same as /ping, only different. /re or /hop Parts and joins the current channel quickly. /clearbans Clears all the bans in the current channel. /send sends a file to someone. can use wildcards. usage: /send $nick $filename ----- Text Enhancements ----- /rainbow /rainbow [text] Doesn't work with numbers. /leet /leet [text] Substitutes characters for some letters. /eb /eb [text] Substitutes "ebonics" here and there; kinda pointless. ----- Kicking ----- /k Similar to /kick /k Kicks from current channel. If is not given, your kick reason looks kinda weird, but it's okay. /rkick Random kick! Takes a random non-op/non-voice (peon, as I like call them) and kicks them! Can make you quite unpopular among the peons of any given channel, as well as among some ops. ------------------------------ Other Information ------------------------------- IRC: Crashnbur.
